Honeywell’s legacy of imaging innovation continues with the newest FlexRangeTM FR imager.

Whether you work in a distribution center, retail, logistics, or in the field, workers often need the capability of scanning near, mid, and far range distances. However, outdated large long-range imaging technology is not suitable for more compact workflows. Why not have one imager that is suitable for all workflows? Introducing the Honeywell FlexRangeTM imager.

The FlexRange FR has a dual-lens architecture that simultaneously captures near, mid, and far range with no moving parts. It’s the ultimate combination of speed, range, and ruggedness. From picking to the pallet rack, the FlexRange FR imager is capable of handling the broadest range of workflows. And without moving parts, there’s no time spent re-focusing, so the FlexRange FR is always operating at lightning speed.

The FlexRange uses the latest technology for a fast auto-focus lens mechanism that provides the focus change multiple times faster than its predecessor. At this level of performance, the operator feels no latency in reading across the entire distance range, allowing an efficient and comfortable work pace. It’s the optimal choice for workers who need to scan a wide variety of ranges with a single device. From a few inches from up to 10 meters away it enables virtually every use case in a single, compact, lightweight device that doesn’t compromise range, ergonomics, or speed.

Key Features include:

  • Dual lens design for simultaneous close and far image capture enables innovative new applications such as scene validation
  • No moving parts for near-instantaneous autofocus and the snappiest performance in its class
  • Reads barcodes from 5-6 cm to 10 meters
  • The smallest and lightest long-range scanner enables long-range scanning in small devices
  • Enhanced performance range enabling improved ergonomics for end-users
  • Enables standardization on a single device to meet the needs of multiple workflows
