Worldwide availability: To meet our customers' multiple location needs, Intermec has direct and partner-supported depot repair centers strategically placed around the world--in more than 70 countries in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Each depot is staffed with Intermec trained and certified repair technicians, uses only authorized Intermec service parts, state of the art test equipment and troubleshooting procedures, and guarantees customer satisfaction with an industry-leading 90 day warranty on repairs. From scanners to printers, to computers, all repairs are made to the most exacting standards to ensure an optimum level of systems performance.

Locked in pricing: Our Depot Support Service Plans* offer locked in pricing for the repair of your Intermec equipment. All repaired devices are returned to factory specified operating condition. Our depot plans are designed for those customers who want the same high quality repair they receive with our standard warranty, but with repair turnaround commitment. You have a choice of two-day or five-day repair turnaround times, measured from the time a unit is logged in at an Intermec Repair Center. Intermec's performance in meeting these turnaround requirements is unmatched in our industry. Medallion service agreements ensure that your system's performance meets your needs at minimal cost. Unrestricted telephone-based support is also included with either Medallion Service plan.

* Not all Medallion Programs are available in every country. For service availability and specific information within your country, please contact your local Intermec service provider.


Medallion depot plans now available with extended coverage against repairs and on-the-job damage! Medallion Complete covers repairs and damage to most current Intermec computers and their eligible accessories, as well as many current scanners, and label printers. Cracked case? Cracked screen? As long as a device is repairable, Intermec will make it right, with Medallion Complete. It comes automatically included when you purchase a 3-year service agreement for eligible products under Medallion depot or overnight advance spares replacement (Silver Replacement) plans. Available today in fourteen worldwide locations!

Two Medallion Depot Plans with Committed Turnaround Times Available: Silver (2-day) Service and Bronze (5-day) Service. With either plan the following benefits are included:

  • All covered labor and parts, free of additional charge
  • Unrestricted telephone-based technical support
  • Return freight of the repaired device

The following preventative maintenance benefits also apply to devices which have been sent to the depot for repair:

  • Cleaning and calibration**
  • Application of any applicable Engineering Change Notification updates

** These services are also available on a fee basis for devices that are not in need of repair. Contact your local Regional Service Manager for details.
